Vintage Accutron Watch by Bulova Aluminum Tuning Fork Lucite Case Store Display
Early to mid 1960s vintage Accutron by Bulova Watch Aluminum Tuning Fork and Lucite jeweler's Case Store Display. Very rare and very cool vintage watch box/case/jeweler's counter store display for the Accutron watch series by Bulova. The watch is displayed inside the Lucite case, on blue velvet type material. There are little colorful stars encased in the Lucite so that it appears that the watch is floating in space. The Lucite section opens and closes like a watch box. The aluminum tuning fork has the Bulova watch information engraved into it and a representation of a "satellite" mounted on it. The case set slides into the Accutron black plastic name plate.
It can be mounted vertically or horizontally, as shown in the pictures. This item measures about 12.5 in length and about 3 3/4 high while mounted horizontally. I include the "picture" (pictured) of a classic Chapter Ring model...
