Been in garage since about 1950. Likely early 1900s original construction. Bought from a clothing store that went out of business. This was a top end well constructed cabinet to display high end product back in the day.
This was made in the day with all solid wood, no particleboard junk here. Was used to store odds and ends in the garage (still full). All contents will be removed prior to sale. This cabinet has 3 large sliding glass doors on the front.
No cracks or damage to glass. Approximately 101" long x 26" deep x 46.25 tall overall. 9 slots wide by 4 slots high. Inside slot measurements are 10-1/8" wide x 8" tall. Doesn't appear anything is missing.
This cabinet was buried in the garage with plywood and other cabinetry up against it. It appears that this was a shirt display cabinet in a local haberdashery. It looks like cabinet is all oak or at least hardwood of some sort. This truly is a barn find. How many of these have survived? Item is located in central MA. I can assist with loading. This is one of two antique cabinets found. See my other listings for the other cabinet.
