The inside of both doors have mirrors to help display your collection. The case has a beautiful oak frame with. 1/4 beveled glass on top and there glass sides and front. Inside of the case are its original oak shelves and brackets. The shelves are stright and flat. There are also two sets of lights mounted inside near the top. The LIGHTS WORKED the last time I tried them. The cabinet could be used to store or display a wide variety of items including dolls, china, comic books, Civil War collections, notions, craft supplies, etc. The possibilities are endless with this cabinet!
A guess would put the cabnet at about 1930's or 1940's, The shelve brackets have a patent date of 1900. The company started in 1900 and closed before 1950.The cabinet has nylon skid pads mounted on the corners so it can be slid on a floor or across cement, into position for loading. Or bring a large dollie to move it. BRING HELP to load it into your vehicle or trailer. Two able bodied people will be able to handle it. I CANNOT DO ANY HEAVY LIFTING - so I will not be able to help load this item!
