This is a unique antique showcase at 12 feet long for starters.... Then there are the pleasing details such as the ionic columns at the front corners and dentil molding around the front and side edges. In addition, it is very solidly built and still retains most of the old and wavy glass. The brass tag reads "Reinle & Salmon STORE & OFFICE FIXTURES Baltomore, MD".
This company was founded in approx 1890 and were known for its outstanding drugstore and other store cabinets. There are 2 140 (or so) adjustable shelves. Which are 13" and 16" wide.
The shelves are almost in a frame as each side has a finished end. They retain very old felt. One of the six brackets is missing and currently there is a piece of wood which keeps one end of the bottom shelf up. I do have pics of this and of the shelves and their construction. This is a fab and unique antique store counter!
